Kristin Forner completed her medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2005, her internship with the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Hospital in 2006, and finally her residency with the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2009.  After passing both her Written and Oral Board examinations in October 2010, she earned board-certification from The American Board of Anesthesiology.

She is currently the Medical Director for the Department of Anesthesiology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio where she is fulfilling a three-year commitment.  She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
